ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills have selected offensive guard John Miller with the 81st pick in the NFL draft on Friday.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 325 pounds, the third-round pick was a four-year starter for the Cardinals. Miller has an opportunity to compete for a starting job on a retooled line in Buffalo under new coach Rex Ryan.

The Bills opened the draft in the second round by selecting Florida State cornerback Ronald Darby with the 50th pick. Buffalo sat out the first round on Thursday after trading its pick a year ago to Cleveland to move up five spots and draft receiver Sammy Watkins.

Barring trades, Buffalo closes the draft with four picks on Saturday.
