DETROIT LIONS (28)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 23) - Lost eight straight to finish. C'mon Man!
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 25) - The bottom fell out this season. Jim Schwartz's seat will be hot.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 28)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 28) - Forgetful season, problems started in the offseason with seven arrests.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 27) - Jim Schwartz goes from the playoffs one year to the coaching hot seat the next. Put him near the top of the list heading into 2013.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 29) - The Lions finished with a league-worst eight-game losing streak and Calvin Johnson failed in his bid to become the NFL's first 2,000-yard receiver by 36 yards. So December was a complete wash for the Lions.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 28) - The Lions were 0-8 the second half of the season and 9-19, including the playoffs, since starting 5-0 last season. Ford better have a better idea to fix this thing.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 28) - That 0-6 division record could have been enough to get Jim Schwartz canned.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 28) - Call them underachievers if you want too. This seems like a team where injuries were too big a factor and just because they made the playoffs in 2011 didn't mean they automatically returned in 2012. It's not a rebuild but it needs some clear cut planning for the future.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 28) - Exhibit 1A that talent alone doesn't win you games in the NFL. This team was undisciplined, uninspired and just plain bad in 2012. Sorry Calvin, you were awesome!
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 29) - No 2011 playoff team had a bigger fall from grace than the Lions.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 30) - From 10-6 to 4-12, the Lions were one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL. As a result, look for quite a bit of roster upheaval.
