Agent: Saints to sign RB Wynn

DeShawn Wynn's agent says the running back has agreed to re-sign with New Orleans.

Christina Phillips says Wynn is expected to sign on Tuesday with the Saints, who open the playoffs on Saturday in Seattle.

The Saints have not announced any roster moves or responded to inquiries about how they'd make room for Wynn on the roster.

Wynn, who has ample special teams experience, could replace reserve running back Julius Jones.

The expected signing also raises questions about the health of Pierre Thomas and rookie Chris Ivory. Thomas was inactive for Sunday's regular season finale after hurting his left ankle in practice last week. Ivory, who leads the team in rushing, left Sunday's game with a left foot injury.
