The agent for Levi Brown says the rookie quarterback has been cut by the Buffalo Bills.

Joseph Linta confirmed several reports of Brown being cut in a text message Saturday, hours before NFL teams made their final cuts to get down to a 53-player roster. The quarterback from Troy University was the first of Buffalo's two seventh-round draft picks.

Brown was fourth on the Bills depth chart. He was 15 of 30 for 130 yards with two interceptions three preseason games.

Bills coach Chan Gailey is scheduled to discuss the team's cuts later Saturday.
