After injury, Rolle thought his foot would be 'facing the other way'

Chicago Bears safety Antrel Rolle suffered a nasty ankle injury during Sunday's 22-20 win over the Oakland Raiders. He got his leg caught underneath a falling player, leaving him on the ground in agony, afraid to look at his own foot.
"I thought it would be facing the other way," Rolle said, per Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times.
X-rays revealed that nothing was broken in Rolle's leg, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The injury has not been confirmed as a high-ankle sprain, but he was in a walking boot after the game.
Overall, Rolle seems to be in a positive frame of mind. He is just thankful that the injury was not worse. The veteran defensive back can now turn his focus to rehabilitation and getting back on the football field.
"I’m a fighter, man," Rolle said, per the Chicago Sun-Times. "My body heals fairly well. … I don’t like missing time."
Rolle, 32, hasn't missed much time during his 11-year NFL career. He hasn't missed a game since the 2009 season, when he was a member of the Arizona Cardinals.
