After Favre congratulated Manning, Jenn Sterger trolled with advice
When Peyton Manning broke Brett Favre's record for most career touchdown passes on Sunday night vs. the 49ers, Twitter was abuzz with congratulations and kind words -- well, mostly kind words.
We say "mostly" because, well, you know how the Internet works by now.
Favre himself, of course, said all the right things in his post.
Heck, he even hashtagged it:
Well deserved Peyton. Congratulations on breaking my record. #Onto600 http://t.co/MEeffAlmeP
— Brett Favre (@Favre4Official) October 20, 2014
The problem for Favre, however, is that a ghost from his past also decided to weigh in on Twitter:
Just in case you forgot who Jenn Sterger is, she's the person to whom Favre was accused of sending lewd and lascivious photos back in 2010, when both she and the former quarterback worked for the New York Jets.
The married Favre eventually was hit with a $50,000 fine for failing to cooperate with the league's investigation in the sexting scandal, but it was never found that he violated the NFL's policy for personal conduct.
