Watch Kobe get his Messi on with full-court shot in FIFA 16 ad

If you're a video game aficionado -- especially of the sports variety -- then you likely know that the release of FIFA 16, the latest iteration of EA Sports' soccer game, is right around the corner. And to get the public pumped, EA released a commercial on Wednesday that featured some of soccer's greats.

Oh, and Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant stopped by, too, to show off a little fancy footwork with a (admittedly very much CGI'd) full-court shot in which he "kicks" a basketball into the hoop at about the 50-second mark:

It's been a summer stuffed with soccer for Bryant, who attended a Barcelona practice in July and joked that he'd finish his career with Barca's basketball side.
