WATCH: Jordan Clarkson defies gravity with a double-pump reverse layup
It was Kobe Bryant's night, as they all seem to be on his retirement tour, but Jordan Clarkson led the Los Angeles Lakers' 112-104 victory over the Boston Celtics with 24 points (10-for-15 shooting), including a basket that stood out above the rest.
Coming off a Roy Hibbert screen, Clarkson attacked baseline, getting by Avery Bradley, and jumped just outside of the paint, meeting Kelly Olynyk in-air. Instead of trying to dunk or lay the ball up on Olynyk -- and likely getting fouled or blocked -- Clarkson double-pumped and finished with a reverse layup on the other side:
Clarkson hadn't scored 20 points in a game since Nov. 29, so he and the Lakers were long overdue for a performance like this. His 24 points matched Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas for the game high.
