Vince Carter's performance in the 2000 slam dunk contest was a superhuman tour de force. He did things nobody had ever seen before, under the brightest lights, against the stiffest competition. It will never be forgotten, and it will never be repeated. 

Here, the 38-year-old Carter looks back at the night that changed his career, and altered our collective expectations for what NBA All-Star Weekend is supposed to be.
