Rockets fan gets stunningly realistic James Harden tattoo (and it's kind of creepy)

The 2015-16 NBA season has been a bit blurry for the Houston Rockets and James Harden. This tattoo version of The Beard, on the other hand, is as close to picture-perfect as you'll get:

Lots of fans try to pull off tattoos of their sports heroes, but this ink blows each and every one of those previous tattoos out of the water. And it's even cooler from multiple angles (click on the image below to play the video):

The artist, Steve Butcher, was kind enough to share a glimpse at the Harden tattoo as a work in progress, and his initial sketches are almost as impressive as the finished product:

Butcher has also inked amazing versions of Kobe Bryant, Dennis Rodman, and Michael Jordan:

If practice truly makes perfect, that would explain why the Harden tattoo is so incredibly awesome. It almost makes us want to get one of our very own -- although if we're being 100 percent honest, the tattoo is so realistic that it's kind of creeping us out.
