It wasn't exactly a punch. But when Utah Jazz forward Trevor Booker took a swing at Roy Hibbert in a preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers, you knew there would be discipline down the line.

According to Yahoo! Sports, said discipline will take the form of a one-game suspension for the Jazz's regular season opener. Utah begins the season on October 28 against the Detroit Pistons.

Yahoo! reports that Booker spoke to league officials on Wednesday before the suspension was handed down.

Booker played a limited role for the Jazz in 2014-15, but his development this offseason could create more opportunities for him in 2015-16. Utah has built a reputation for its defense, and Booker is a hard-nosed, versatile forward who has no problem mixing it up in the paint.
