Raptors' Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan have fun during an interview

Published Dec. 28, 2015 5:52 p.m. ET

Kyle Lowry has a history of "video bombing" his teammate DeMar DeRozan during interviews. After Sunday's practice, Lowry kept the tradition alive.

In what seemed like a regular post-practice interview, DeRozan was poised as he answered questions about being aggressive on the floor. Then, in the middle of another question, an empty bottle appears on camera. DeRozan abruptly ends the answer to his question -- quickly making it clear that the culprit of the prank was, once again, Lowry.

"Come on, Kyle. You always gonna play. Do I mess with you when you do interviews?" asks DeRozan.

Lowry continues to inch the bottle closer to DeRozan, who continues answering questions from the media -- as he also casually swats away at the (obviously) fake microphone. You can audibly hear Lowry offer silly comments about DeRozan's answers.

"Your field-goal percentage in this last stretch has been higher, what’s the reasoning for that would you say?” asks one reporter. “Because he’s not shooting that many shots,” jokes Lowry.

DeRozan, who appears both annoyed and also amused in the same moment, holds back laughter. Then, he says: "At least I can get my shot off whenever I want."

Lowry, however, seemed to win this battle -- he offered a final witty comment ("After 38 pump fakes!") that sent DeRozan into hysterical laughter.
