Johnny Bach was with Chicago as an assistant coach from 1988-94, and served alongside both Doug Collins and Phil Jackson.
He was known as the architect of the team's defense during Michael Jordan's first three championship seasons, and after it was announced that he passed away on Monday at the age of 91, Phil Jackson penned a touching tribute to Bach that included plenty of interesting details.
