Paul George Will Not Play Tonight vs the Brooklyn Nets
Once probable for the game, Paul George has officially been ruled out for the Indiana Pacers game tonight against the Brooklyn Nets due to a sore back.
The Indiana Pacers are already short-handed with C.J. Miles and Kevin Seraphin out, so the news of Paul George’s absence with a bad back is a tough break.
A tough schedule awaits Indiana after this game against the Brooklyn Nets, so hopefully this rest will get the injured guys healthy and ready to go.
Paul George has already missed some games this season due to a sprained ankle. He returned from the ankle injury on Wednesday, when the Pacers lost to the Atlanta Hawks at home. PG struggled, shooting 6-22 from the field and 2-11 from three-point range for 18 points.
Glenn Robinson III will likely start at small forward for the Pacers tonight, as he did recently when both George and C.J. Miles were on the sidelines. As a starter, Glenn is averaging 41 minutes per game. To go with those big minutes, he’s averaging 12.0 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game.
We’ll see how the Pacers fare tonight against the Brooklyn Nets, who upset Indiana two games into the season.
