Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan are highest-scoring backcourt in the East
With All-Star voting season upon us, Toronto stars DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry look to return to the spotlight.
There's a lot of talented players in the league, but DeRozan and Lowry compose the highest-scoring backcourt in the NBA's Eastern Conference. The two Toronto guards combine for the 3rd-highest scoring backcourt in the NBA -- behind Golden State's Curry and Thompson as well as Portland's Lillard and McCollum.
DeRozan averages 21.4 points per game with 4.3 assists over 36.3 minutes. Lowry adds 22.0 points and 6.3 assists over 35.8 minutes per game.
Out of all scoring duos in the NBA (including players who play any position), Lowry and DeRozan rank No. 6 in the league -- behind Durant/Westbrook, Curry/Thompson as well as talent from Cleveland, Indiana and Portland.
