Kobe announces worldwide scavenger hunt for autographed pairs of Nike Kobe 11 shoes

Nike officially debuted Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant's Kobe 11 shoe on Periscope on Monday afternoon, though the unveiling itself wasn't the most exciting part of the presentation.
In a surprising twist, Bryant revealed that he had autographed 20 pairs of Kobe 11 shoes and would be hiding them in a worldwide scavenger hunt spanning across 20 different cities. To find the shoes, Bryant and Nike will ask fans questions on social media, with the answers serving as clues.
"There will be questions that pose as clues," Bryant said, according to Sole Collector. "Some of the questions will be kind of standard stuff – growing up questions and stuff like that. Others will be centered around innovation. It's important for them to really understand the product."
The giveaway starts Dec. 22, a little more than two weeks before the shoes are made available Jan. 9.
