Kevin Durant Says Paul George is his Favorite Player in the NBA
Before the Golden State Warriors take on the Indiana Pacers tonight, Kevin Durant had some high praise for his Olympic teammate Paul George.
The friendship between Kevin Durant and Paul George has been well documented over the years.
When George suffered the awful leg injury while playing for Team USA nearly three years ago, Kevin Durant withdrew from the team. He was too upset about the injury and lost his motivation to represent Team USA.
Fast forward to the present, and Kevin Durant is calling Paul George his favorite player in the league.
“He’s my favorite player in the league,” KD said of George. “I’ve been saying that for a while. He’s just so smooth, man. He can do it all. He can pass, he can rebound, shoot the J, post up, handle the ball. He’s my favorite player.”
Durant also talked about what it’s been like going up against George over the years.
“Just knowing him over the last few years, it makes the competition even better when we play against each other. I got nothing but respect for Paul. It’s a mutual respect. We always have battles when we play against each other, so I’m looking forward to it tonight.”

Paul George returned from his ankle injury last night against the Los Angeles Clippers. He scored 16 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and handed out 5 assists. He is good to go for tonight’s match-up against Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors.
The game will be on NBA TV and will tip off at 10:30 p.m.
