Toronto's Bismack Biyombo provides valuable minuted for the Raptors as a big man. Recently, however, his play has taken off.
During the first 25 games of the season, Biyombo averaged 7.6 rebounds per game. It's a solid rate for a backup center, though certainly not enough to turn many heads. In the last five games, however, Biyombo has absolutely dominated. According to NBA.com/Stats, Biyombo averages 15.8 rebounds.
Biyombo recorded a career-high 20 rebounds against the Mavericks; he eclipsed his previous career-high of 18 -- which he set just a week prior.
