Fast cars, hard music and long beards.

Stewart-Haas Racing's Danica Patrick helped announce the pre-race concert Tuesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway by driving ZZ Top into the event in a classic Chevrolet Bel Air to the tunes of "Sharp Dressed Man."

"Our music has long been synonymous with great NASCAR action and we're looking forward to continuing that tradition with the May 24th appearance at Charlotte Motor Speedway," the band said in a statement. "Fast cars, rockin' music and the greatest fans in the world is a winning combination as far as we're concerned."

Track president and general manager Marcus Smith was quick to point out the band, which was started nine years after CMS was opened, shared a role in entertaining NASCAR fans.

"Just like Charlotte Motor Speedway is part of the fabric of NASCAR's storied history, ZZ Top is synonymous with classic rock and hot cars and we can't wait for them to join us for the biggest Memorial Day Weekend celebration on the planet," he said.

ZZ Top will also join Adam Alexander, Larry McReynolds and Danielle Trotta on Tuesday's "NASCAR Race Hub" on FOX Sports 1 at 6 p.m. ET.
