Kurt Busch, Keselowski cause big wreck
A miscue between the tandem combination of Kurt Busch and Brad Keselowski sent the No. 2 Dodge sailing in front of a pack of cars at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday.
The crash occurred in Turn 3 on Lap 90.
Keselowski collected Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne, David Ragan and Kasey Kahne, whose car burst into flames and was finally extinguished at the entrance of pit road.
"It caught fire and there was a lot of black smoke," Kahne said. "I saw the (No.) 2 car go right and then it started going left"
Ragan, Bayne and Kahne were evaluated and released from the infield care center.
"I'm fine. I actually didn’t really even get in that bad of a wreck," Kahne said. "I sucked up a little bit of black smoke, but that was it. I stink, too."
Bayne wasn't as fortunate.
"That was one of the harder hits I've taken," he said, "just because it was so much of a frontal impact across the track, off the apron, all the way to the wall."
