The hype is building as "Cars 3", Disney/Pixar’s latest edition of the animated racing movie, will hit theaters on June 16.

In anticipation for the movie that follows five-time Piston Cup champion Lightning McQueen, Disney/Pixar has launched a 27-city, nationwide tour that’ll make stops at three NASCAR tracks – Texas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and Sonoma Raceway – during race weekends over the next few months.

The "Cars 3 Road to the Races" first stop at a NASCAR track will be at Texas Motor Speedway on April 7-8 during the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 weekend.

The display will feature character look-alikes, a sneak peak of the movie, an interactive play area, street art booth, and several other interactive areas that focus on the movie and NASCAR’s history.

In between stops at NASCAR tracks, the tour will appear at several malls and stadiums, along with both of Disney’s American parks – Disney World and Disneyland.

When NASCAR heads home to Charlotte for the All-Star weekend, the Cars 3 display will stop by on May 19-20.

The final stop of the interactive tour to build excitement for the release comes at Sonoma on June 24-25 during the Toyota/Save Mart 350 race weekend.

If you want to see the tour but won’t be able to make it to one of the three race weekends, check out the full list of stops for the tour.
