Tight back sidelines Marlins 1B Logan Morrison

Marlins first baseman Logan Morrison has been scratched from the starting lineup for Friday's game against St. Louis because of back tightness.

Morrison gave the Marlins' moribund offense a lift when he was activated Sunday after being sidelined since right knee surgery last September. He's 4 for 9 in three games.

Morrison's back bothered him when he took early batting practice Friday, and he'll likely miss at least a couple of games, manager Mike Redmond said.
