Published Aug. 24, 2012 11:13 p.m. ET

Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre has hit for the cycle.

Beltre had a one-out single in the seventh inning Friday night to complete his second career cycle. It is the fourth cycle in the majors this season.

Beltre started his night against the Minnesota Twins with a triple in the first inning, his first triple in two years. After a double in the second, he homered in the fifth.

The other cycle for Beltre also came at Rangers Ballpark, when he was playing for Seattle on Sept. 1, 2008.

It is the sixth cycle in Rangers history. The last was Bengie Molina's on July 16, 2010, at Boston, which was also the last time an AL player hit for the cycle.

Beltre is on an offensive roll. He hit three homers during Wednesday's game and has homered in three consecutive games overall.
