MINNEAPOLIS (AP) The Baltimore Orioles have recalled right-hander Brad Brach from Triple-A Norfolk after optioning right-hander Evan Meek to the International League club.

The move to bring up Brach was made before Friday's game at Minnesota, a bullpen shuffle for the second straight day by the Orioles.

Brach posted a 3.70 ERA over the past three seasons as a reliever with San Diego, throwing a total of 104-plus innings for the Padres. He had a 4.85 ERA in 12 appearances this year for the Tides. The Orioles reinstated left-hander Troy Patton to the roster Thursday after the completion of his 25-game suspension and sent right-hander Josh Stinson outright to Norfolk.
