The Florida Marlins have activated reliever Clay Hensley from the 15-day disabled list.

Hensley had been sidelined with bruised left ribs. The right-hander entered Sunday's game against Tampa Bay with no record and a 2.77 ERA in 16 appearances.

To make room for Hensley, infielder Ozzie Martinez was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans following the Marlins' 5-3 victory over Tampa Bay on Saturday.
