Michigan kicker Kenny Allen doing something special with part of his bowl gift

Michigan kicker Kenny Allen is in the giving mood this holiday season.

The fourth-year junior from Fenton, Mich., tweeted that he is taking some of his bowl swag from the Wolverines' upcoming appearance in the Citrus Bowl and trying to make a difference for others in need.

He credited Minnesota punter Peter Mortell with the idea.

The gifts from the bowl included a $315 shopping trip to Best Buy along with a watch and an EA Sports video game.

Michigan faces Florida in the Citrus Bowl on Friday.
