Iowa releases touching tribute video to late Tyler Sash

The Iowa football program suffered an emotional loss Tuesday when former safety Tyler Sash was found dead at the age of 27. Sash was a star on and off the field for the Hawkeyes, and Iowa released a fitting tribute to him this afternoon.

The video is nearly four minutes long and features a ton of Sash highlights and interview clips. Sash’s stunning interception return for a touchdown against Indiana in 2009 and his hook-and-ladder with Micah Hyde in the 2010 Michigan State game appear about midway through.
