ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Cameron Reynolds made a go-ahead 3-pointer with 11 seconds left and No. 10 seed Tulane upset second-seeded Houston 72-69 Friday night in an American Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal.

It was the first time in tournament history a double-digit seed beat a No. 2 seed, and the Green Wave (12-21) move on to Saturday's semifinal against sixth-seeded Memphis despite reports that Tulane is expected to release coach Ed Conroy at the end of the season. Conroy never finished above .500 in six seasons.

Dylan Osetkowski scored 18 points and Louis Dabney added 16 for Tulane. Reynolds finished with 11 points.

Rob Gray Jr. had 17 points for Houston (22-9), which had five score in double figures.

LeRon Barnes split a pair of free throws and the Cougars had their last lead, 69-67, with 19 seconds left. Reynolds hit a 3 and Malik Morgan made a pair of free throws with two seconds left to cap the scoring.

Devonta Pollard missed a midcourt 3-point shot to end it.

Tulane has won consecutive postseason games for the first time since the 1996 NIT.
