ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Justin Robinson scored a career-best 36 points to help Monmouth beat Siena 93-87 and sweep the season series with the Saints on Monday night.

Robinson hit four 3-pointers on the night and made all 12 of his free throws.

Siena had entered with an opportunity to tie Monmouth for first place in the MAAC standings, but instead the Saints fell to third, two games behind the Hawks and a game behind second place Iona.

Micah Seaborn and Austin Tilghman each finished with 12 points for Monmouth (18-5, 10-2).

Javion Ogunyemi led the Saints (15-8, 8-4) with 31 points. Brett Bisping added 20 and Nico Clareth had 15.

Two Ogunyemi free throws cut the Monmouth lead to 66-64 with 12:19 left. But the Hawks scored 12 of the next 18 to push the lead to double figures (80-70), and the Saints never got back within six-points.
