DENVER (AP) Kenneth Ogbe scored 28 points, including a free throw in the final seconds, to help Utah Valley fend off Denver down the stretch in an 88-85 win on Wednesday night.

Two free throws by Denver's Joe Rosga cut the Utah Valley lead to 85-84 with 41 seconds left. The Wolverines missed a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession, but an offensive rebound by Isaac Neilson forced Denver to foul with just nine seconds to go.

Jordan Poydras drilled both at the line and Utah Valley was back up by three. Another Rosga free throw managed to get the Pioneers back to within two, but the final shot at the line by Ogbe iced it.

Overall the Wolverines hit 24 of 33 at the line.
