Oakland outruns Youngstown State 107-85

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) Kahlil Felder led six players in double figures with 17 points and Oakland outran Youngstown State 107-85 on Thursday night.

Both teams shot well - Oakland made 39 of 73 field goal attempts (53.4 percent) and went 10 of 26 from beyond the arc, while Youngstown State shot 46.7 percent.

Felder was 6 of 12 and had 14 assists, tying a career high. Percy Gibson and Max Hooper had 16 points apiece for Oakland (16-8, 8-3 Horizon). Jalen Hayes scored 14 points with 12 rebounds, and the Golden Grizzlies won the rebound battle 46-29.

Youngstown State (9-15, 4-7) was led by Cameron Morse with 23 points, and Francisco Santiago added 22. Matt Donlan and Jordan Andrews had 11 points apiece for the Penguins.

Oakland used a 23-6 run midway through the first half to take control of the game and led 53-34 at the break. Youngstown State headed up after intermission, but Oakland never stalled - the teams combined for 105 points after the half.
