Mount St. Mary's handles Fairleigh Dickinson 87-72

HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) Gregory Graves scored 22 points and Mount St. Mary's took an 87-72 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson on Sunday.

Mount St. Mary's raced to an 18-2 advantage and its lead remained in double figures the rest of the game. The Mountaineers led 44-25 at halftime with their biggest lead of 23 points coming with eight minutes left on BK Ashe's 3-pointer.

The Mountaineers (9-12, 6-2) and Knights (9-10, 5-3) entered the day in a three-way tie atop of the Northeast Conference with Wagner.

Chris Wray and Ashe added 14 points each, Taylor Danaher 11 points and nine rebounds and Elijah Long 10 points for the Mountaineers, who were 24 of 28 at the free-throw line.

Marques Townes had career highs of four 3-pointers and 26 points, along with eight rebounds, and Darian Anderson added 19 points for the Knights, who committed 24 turnovers.
