Loyola (Md) beats Mount St. Mary's 64-57

BALTIMORE (AP) Jarred Jones scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Loyola (Md.) to a 64-57 win over Mount St. Mary's on Saturday.

Jones was 6 of 11 from the field and made all three of his free throws for the Greyhounds (4-4). Andre Walker added 12 points and five rebounds.

Cam Gregory sank a layup to put the Greyhounds on top 46-44 with 10:49 to play after they trailed early in the second period.

Junior Robinson put Mount St. Mary's back up 56-54 with 4:59 to go but Loyola took the lead again, 57-56, after Jones converted a steal into a layup with 4:26 remaining. Walker sank five free throws in the final 34 seconds to seal the win.

Elijah Long scored 16 points with three assists and five rebounds for the Mountaineers (1-8) who are on a five-game skid. Robinson added 14 points.
