Holy Cross clips Army, 69-65

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) Karl Charles and Malachi Alexander each scored 20 points and Holy Cross snapped a three game losing streak with a 69-65 win over Army on Wednesday night.
Alexander hit 7 of his 12 field goal attempts while Charles finished 11 of 14 at the free throw line and pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds.
With the score tied at 62 with 1:46 to play, Charles earned a 3-point play after hitting a layup and drawing a foul on Army's Nathan Dodge which gave the Crusaders (8-10, 3-4 Patriot League) a 65-62 lead.
A Dylan Cox layup for Army (12-7, 3-4) cut its deficit to 65-64, but Charles and Robert Champion combined to finish 4 of 4 at the line to close out the win for Holy Cross.
Kennedy Edwards finished with 11 points and Cox added 10 for Army, which has lost four of six.
