WASHINGTON (AP) Kevin Ferguson notched a fourth-consecutive double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds and Army defeated American University 65-59 on Saturday.

Army missed its first four shots and trailed 7-0 until Ferguson put the Army on the board with a layup that sparked a 12-2 run, helping the Black Knights to pull away to a 24-15 halftime lead.

With the win, the Black Knights (15-11, 6-8 Patriot) have four consecutive 15-win seasons for the first time since the 1920-24 seasons.

American's 15 points at halftime - on 6-of-26 shooting (23 percent) - was the lowest for an Army opponent in any half this season.
