Bradds' 21 points lead Belmont past Tennessee Tech, 95-86

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Evan Bradds scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Belmont posted a 95-86 victory over Tennessee Tech that cemented its grip on the Ohio Valley Conference East Division lead Saturday night.
The teams entered Saturday as the only OVC teams with double-digit wins and the Bruins now hold a two-game lead over Tennessee Tech with one game remaining on its schedule: the regular season finale next Sunday at Tennessee State.
Torrance Rowe scored on a layup with 21 seconds left to pull Tennessee Tech within six, 92-86, but the Golden Eagles did not score again and the Bruins added a pair of free throws from Craig Bradshaw and another by Bradds to close the game out.
Austin Luke and Nick Smith each scored 16 points and Taylor Barnette added another 15 as Belmont (20-9, 12-3) won its home finale.
Rowe finished with 27 points to lead Tennessee Tech (18-9, 10-4).
