BOSTON (AP) Cheddi Mosely scored 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for his first career double-double and Boston University edged Colgate 71-68 on Wednesday night to keep pace in the Patriot League race.

The Terriers (17-11, 10-5) extended their winning streak to seven and remained tied with Lehigh for second place, one game behind Bucknell.

BU took the lead for good at 57-52 on Nick Havener's dunk and a 3-point play by Eric Fanning with 6:33 left.

Leading by four with 25 seconds remaining, the Terriers, who shot 92 percent from the line in their previous three games but only 11 of 22 Wednesday, went just 3 of 6 on free throws but that was still enough to hold off Colgate.
