Dani Olmo - Undergoes successful surgery Olmo underwent successful surgery for a sprained acromioclavicular joint in his shoulder and is "doing well", the team announced.

Impact There is no exact timetable for Olmo's return, but is guaranteed to miss the rest of the calendar year. He had started three of the six matches played for the team, recording three goals and one assist. The midfielder also dealt with a knee injury in September that lost him his starting role even after his hot start to the season.

Impact Gulacsi's seems truly relegated to the backup behind Janis Blaswich. The veteran goalkeeper would have top level value if anything were to happen to Blaswich.

Dani Olmo - Surgery possible Olmo (shoulder) is set to be miss the remainder of 2023 due to a shoulder injury, according to manager Marco Rose.

Impact Olmo returned off the bench for the third time since recovering from a leg issue and is now on the sideline indefinitely with a shoulder injury. Rose also added that surgery is possible. It's yet another awful turn for Olmo who is incredibly talented when on the pitch but can seemingly never stay fit and available. Timo Werner and Emil Forsberg will be in for more minutes with Olmo sidelined.

Impact Blaswich faced just one shot and stopped it to come away with the clean sheet with ease. The goalkeeper is up to five clean sheets in nine Bundesliga matches and is keeping Peter Gulacsi out of the starting XI on merit at this point. Blaswich was the backup but has truly earned a major role during almost 12 months as the first choice in net.
