Impact Lodeiro was held out of last weekend's match due to knee soreness, and the procedure Monday is supposed to clean up whatever issue he has. Manager Brian Schmetzer indicated he did not know exactly when Lodeiro would return but that it would be this year. Joao Paulo will have to step up in Lodeiro's absence similarly to earlier this season when Lodeiro was out while recovering from an injury to the same knee.

Expected back before end of season Lodeiro (knee) is expected to return to the side before the end of the season, according to manager Brian Schmetzer.

Impact Lodeiro has played just one match this season and things continue to go on with a lack of updates. He underwent a minor knee surgery in May and it's unknown when he'll be ready to play again.
