Impact Karlsson played more while on loan, making 13 appearances (six starts) and scoring once, than during his time at Bologna, but evidently didn't perform well enough to be retained. He'll likely transfer again during the summer.

Stefan Posch - Not bought out by Atalanta Posch wasn't redeemed by Atalanta by the June 24 deadline, Tuttomercatoweb reported.

Impact Posch only played seven times (five starts) since transferring in January, as he missed months due to a thigh injury. Atalanta didn't activate their option to buy and would have to re-negotiate if they wanted him back. He's unlikely to stay at Bologna, where he had fallen out of favor.

Charalampos Lykogiannis - Stays at Bologna Lykogiannis has agreed to a one-year contract with an option with Bologna.

Impact Lykogiannis would have become a free agent at the end of June if he hadn't re-upped. He'll likely continue to alternate with Juan Miranda next season. He provided five assists and logged 26 key passes, 132 crosses (39 accurate) and 30 tackles in 23 showings (16 starts) last season.

Lorenzo De Silvestri - Re-ups with Bologna De Silvestri has signed a one-year renewal with Bologna.

Impact De Silvestri will spend his sixth straight season at Bologna in 2025/2026, likely backing up Emil Holm again, while the future of Davide Calabria still hangs in the balance. He made 18 Serie A appearances (13 starts) in the past campaign, scoring once and tallying 23 crosses (five accurate), 29 clearances and 11 tackles.

Juan Miranda - Suspended also for opener Miranda will sit out the first game of the 2025/2026 season as he received a two-game ban, the League relayed.

Impact Miranda was found guilty of violent conduct and was handed a multi-match disqualification that will span through two campaigns. He had a career year in 2024/2025, dishing out six assists in 36 appearances (28 starts).

Nicolo Casale - Bought out by Bologna Casale has inked a contract until 2028 with Bologna as the team officially exercised their clause to keep him from Lazio following a loan spell.

Impact Casale had a rotational role last season but showed enough to convince the club to keep him around, as both starter Jhon Lucumi and Sam Beukema are drawing interest. He has totaled 11 tackles, 17 interceptions, 42 clerances and seven blocks in 15 Serie A appearances (nine starts), contributing to two clean sheets. He also featured four times in the Champions League.

The end to his season was particularly strong as he recorded nine goal contributions across the final 12 matches of the season.

Federico Ravaglia - Concedes three in finale Ravaglia had no saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Genoa.

Impact Ravaglia conceded three goals Sunday, all of which came in the first half. He also did not make a save for the fifth time this season. He started 11 games during Bologna's campaign and he conceded 14 goals, made 10 saves and kept four clean sheets. He will likely back up Lukasz Skorupski again next season.
