Quinn Hughes - Bags apple in loss Hughes posted an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Predators in Game 5.
Impact Hughes is up to five assists, eight shots on net and six blocked shots over five playoff contests. He set up Nikita Zadorov for the opening goal in the third period, though the Canucks couldn't hold that narrow lead. Hughes' play hasn't been as consistent in the playoffs, but he's still seeing a massive workload on the top pairing.

Nikita Zadorov - Tallies again in Game 5 Zadorov scored a goal, added two PIM and logged four hits in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Predators in Game 5.
Impact For the second time in five playoff games, Zadorov had the Canucks' lone goal in a loss. The defenseman has three points, eight shots on net, 22 hits and a plus-1 rating so far in the postseason. He remains on the third pairing on paper, but he's exceeded 20 minutes of ice time in each of the last three games, as it appears he's earned extra responsibility from head coach Rick Tocchet.

Arturs Silovs - Can't close out series Silovs stopped 20 of 22 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Predators in Game 5.
Impact Silovs gave up goals to Roman Josi and Alexandre Carrier in the third period of a low-scoring loss. With five goals allowed on 52 shots, Silovs has been solid in his two playoff appearances. The 23-year-old may still end up ceding the crease back to Casey DeSmith, who served as backup Tuesday after missing Sunday's Game 4 with a lower-body injury. The Canucks will get their second chance to advance in Friday's Game 6 in Nashville.

Arturs Silovs - Receives Game 5 start Silovs will guard the home goal versus the Predators on Tuesday in Game 5, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports.
Impact Silovs will get the nod after stopped 27 of 30 shots in a 4-3 overtime win over the Predators on Sunday. The 23-year-old will start over Casey DeSmith, who has recovered from a lower-body injury enough to be able to serve as the backup. A win Tuesday for the Canucks will send them to the second round.
