Canucks Coffee: Selke! Selke! Selke! for Elias Pettersson Elias Pettersson's defensive performance was a massive difference maker in the Canucks shutting out the Maple Leafs. Read more.

"Didn't get much sleep last night": $92,800,000 Vancouver Canucks forward makes struggles known about taking on Maple Leafs after delayed arrival into Toronto Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson revealed that he "didn't get much sleep" before the team's matchup against the Toronto Maple Leaf...

Elias Pettersson - First point since return Pettersson notched an assist and five blocked shots in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Maple Leafs.
Impact Pettersson was able to get on the scoresheet early in his second game back from an undisclosed injury. He helped out on a Brock Boeser tally just 31 seconds into this game. Pettersson saw just 16:08 of ice time, but the Canucks rested a handful of key forwards while in control of this contests, which was the second half of a back-to-back. The 26-year-old center is at 10 goals, 19 helpers, 67 shots on net, 44 blocked shots, 34 hits and a minus-3 rating through 36 outings. Getting Pettersson in peak form will be key for the Canucks to keep their place in what could be a tight wild-card race over the second half of the campaign.

Kiefer Sherwood - Gets back in goal column Sherwood scored a goal on three shots and added five hits in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Maple Leafs.
Impact The goal was Sherwood's first since the holiday break -- he has just two points over his last eight contests. The winger has been bumped down to the third line, but he led all Vancouver forwards with 17:38 of ice time Saturday. He's now at 13 goals, 21 points, 83 shots on net 249 hits and a plus-4 rating through 42 appearances.
JANUARY 12, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Brock Boeser - Nets 15th this season Boeser scored a goal Saturday in a 3-0 win over Toronto.
Impact It stood as the winner. Tyler Myers wired a point shot that ricocheted off Boeser and past Dennis Hildeby. It was his first goal in six games. He has 15 goals, 12 assists and 66 shots in 35 games. Boeser is well off the pace he set last season when he tickled twine 40 times. But 30-plus goals are within reach.
JANUARY 12, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Tyler Myers - Four points in last six games Myers picked up two assists Saturday in a 3-0 win over Toronto.
Impact Myers has four points (one goal, three assists) in his last six games. He's not a prototypical point-getting defender -- he only has 12 in 42 games. But he also has 75 blocks and 40 hits on the season. And that puts Myers on pace to block close to 150 shots. Use him in a deep league if you need that help.
JANUARY 12, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Quinn Hughes - Keeps piling up points Hughes scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-0 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday.
Impact His goal was a gimme. Leafs defender Simon Benoit inadvertently swatted the puck out of the air and into the net, and Hughes was the last Canuck to touch the puck. He has 47 points (nine goals, 38 assists) in 38 games this season. The next closest Canuck has 30 points. Quinn leads NHL defenders in assists and is third overall in points. Norris anyone? Anyone? Or maybe the Hart?
JANUARY 12, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Kevin Lankinen - Fourth shutout of season Lankinen made 20 saves Saturday in a 3-0 win over Toronto.
Impact It was his fourth shutout this season and seventh in the NHL. Lankinen has continued to see a solid workload with Thatcher Demko struggling with back spasms. Make sure you monitor daily activations closely to take advantage of his play.

Kevin Lankinen - Slated to face Toronto Lankinen is set to start on the road against Toronto on Saturday, per Mark Masters of TSN.
Impact Lankinen is 0-1-2 across his past three starts, but he limited the competition to two or fewer goals in two of those outings. He's 15-7-6 with a 2.60 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 28 outings overall. Toronto ranks 12th in goals per game with 3.14.

Thatcher Demko - Gives up two goals Friday Demko stopped 18 of 20 shots in Friday's 2-0 loss to the Hurricanes.
Impact Demko played for the first time since Jan. 2 after missing three games in a row due to back spasms. Even though he looked competent between the pipes, he didn't get much support from the offense in this low-scoring matchup. Demko has gone winless in his last three appearances, going 0-1-1 with a 3.24 GAA and an .869 save percentage in that span. With the Canucks playing on the second leg of a back-to-back Saturday at Toronto, it wouldn't be surprising if Demko is rested, with Kevin Lankinen guarding the Canucks' crease instead.
