Arturs Silovs - Back to minors Silovs was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Saturday.
Impact Nikita Tolopilo was recalled from Abbotsford on an emergency basis in a corresponding move. Silovs has struggled through nine appearances with the big club this season -- he's 1-6-1 with an .858 save percentage and a 3.85 GAA. As a result, Tolopilo appears to have earned a role in the crease behind Kevin Lankinen, at least in the short term, while Thatcher Demko works his way back from a lower-body injury.

Pius Suter - Sets up empty-netter Suter logged an assist and three hits in Friday's 3-1 win over the Wild.
Impact Suter, a pending unrestricted free agent, was not dealt by the Canucks prior to Friday's deadline. He remains in a third-line role for now, though he often sees more ice time than that placement in the lineup would suggest. He's earned four points over seven contests since the 4 Nations Face-Off break and is now up to 29 points over 61 appearances, matching his scoring output from 67 regular-season outings a year ago. He's a decent depth scorer who can help in deep fantasy formats with his offense.
MARCH 8, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Brock Boeser - Helps out on power play Boeser notched a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Friday's 3-1 win over the Wild.
Impact The Canucks opted not to move Boeser at the trade deadline, so he'll close out the campaign with the only NHL club he's ever known. The 28-year-old is warming up a bit with an assist in three of his last four games, including two on the power play. The winger is at 18 goals, 20 assists, 108 shots on net, 56 hits and a minus-20 rating through 55 contests this season. He's currently playing on the third line, though his role on the power play remains intact, giving him a boost in fantasy value if it continues to lead to offense.
MARCH 8, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Filip Hronek - Another two-assist game Hronek logged two assists, two blocked shots and two PIM in Friday's 3-1 win over the Wild.
Impact Hronek has a pair of helpers in each of the last two games. In fact, his last four journeys onto the scoresheet were all multi-point efforts, giving him a goal and seven helpers across his last 10 appearances. The 27-year-old defenseman has 22 points (six on the power play), 56 shots on net, 63 hits, 51 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a plus-1 rating across 41 appearances this season. While he's not played at the same level as last year, Hronek continues to offer decent category coverage in a top-pairing role, even when Quinn Hughes (undisclosed) is out of the lineup.

Pettersson snaps scoring drought, Vancouver Canucks down Minnesota Wild 3-1 VANCOUVER - Kiefer Sherwood scored late in the third period as the Vancouver Canucks downed the Minnesota Wild 3-1 on Friday.
MARCH 8, 2025 • THESTAR.COM
Teddy Blueger - Deposits empty-netter Blueger scored an empty-net goal on two shots and added a plus-2 rating in Friday's 3-1 win over the Wild.
Impact Blueger failed to record a point in January and February, but he's now scored in consecutive contests. He provided some an insurance with an empty-netter Friday. The Canucks' lack of deadline-day moves, especially at center, will keep Blueger locked into a fourth-line role for now. He's at seven tallies, 19 points, 69 shots on net, 80 hits and a minus-6 rating through 62 appearances this season.
MARCH 8, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Kiefer Sherwood - Scores game-winner Sherwood scored a goal on two shots, doled out seven hits and added seven PIM in Friday's 3-1 win over the Wild.
Impact Sherwood ended a 15-game goal drought dating back to Jan. 14 -- he also missed four contests due to an undisclosed injury in that time. The 29-year-old winger hasn't been much of a pugilist this year, but he fought Ryan Hartman in the first period after tripping the Minnesota forward. Sherwood is up to 14 goals, 25 points, 107 shots, 338 hits and 31 PIM over 58 appearances. He can win fantasy managers the hits category nearly on his own, and he's on track for a career high in points for the third year in a row.
MARCH 8, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Elias Pettersson - Finds twine on power play Pettersson scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Wild.
Impact Pettersson opened the scoring at 16:14 of the first period. He snapped a 15-game goal drought in the process, and during that span, he was limited to five assists and 21 shots on net. The 26-year-old center is up to 12 goals, 36 points, 100 shots on net, 65 blocked shots, 58 hits and a minus-8 rating through 56 appearances. Pettersson is just two years removed from a 39-goal, 102-point campaign, but 2024-25 will go down as a forgettable year on his ledger, one the Canucks will hope he can bounce back from quickly.
MARCH 8, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Kevin Lankinen - Stands tall in win Lankinen stopped 37 of 38 shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Wild.
Impact Lankinen has won four of his last six outings, and this is the fifth time in that span he's allowed two or fewer goals. His shutout bid was spoiled by Brock Faber's power-play tally, but Lankinen held off the Wild's relentless attack and got just enough goal support late in the third period to claim the win. He's now 22-10-7 with a 2.52 GAA and a .906 save percentage over 39 outings this season. The 29-year-old netminder seems likely to get the nod for a challenging matchup versus the Stars on Sunday.
