Elias Pettersson - Out for remainder of trip
Pettersson (undisclosed) returned to Vancouver and will miss the remainder of the team's road trip this week, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports Monday.
Impact
That timeline rules out Pettersson for the next four games, starting with Monday's matchup versus New Jersey. He had three goals and six assists during a six-game point streak before getting hurt in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers. With Pettersson and Nils Hoglander (undisclosed) unavailable, Pius Suter will center the top line, while Aatu Raty and Linus Karlsson will occupy bottom-six roles against the Devils.

Nils Hoglander - Won't return during road trip
Hoglander (undisclosed) recently returned to Vancouver and won't rejoin the Canucks for the remainder of their road trip, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports Monday.
Impact
Hoglander exited Saturday's game against the Rangers due to an injury and didn't participate in Sunday's practice session. It's not yet clear what injury he's dealing with, but the ailment will apparently keep him out for at least four matchup. Jake DeBrusk will likely remain on the top line Monday against New Jersey, while Hoglander's next chance to return will be April 2 against Seattle.

Thatcher Demko - Starting against New Jersey
Demko will be between the road pipes against the Devils on Monday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
Impact
Demko was activated off injured reserve earlier Monday after missing 15 games due to a lower-body injury. The 29-year-old has been inconsistent since the start of the calendar year, going 4-5-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .900 save percentage over 11 appearances. The Devils are averaging 2.96 goals per game this season, which ranks 17th in the NHL.

Thatcher Demko - Removed from IR
Demko (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Monday.
Impact
After missing the last 15 games, Demko will return to the lineup in Monday's road game against New Jersey, and it wouldn't be surprising if he got the start. He has posted a 6-6-3 record with one shutout, a 2.87 GAA and an .891 save percentage through 17 appearances this season.

Nils Hoglander - Status uncertain for Monday
Hoglander (undisclosed) didn't participate in Sunday's practice and is day-to-day according to head coach Rick Tocchet, Ben Kuzma of Postmedia reports.
Impact
Hoglander departed Saturday's game against the Rangers, and Tocchet relayed that Hoglander and Elias Pettersson (undisclosed) are "pretty sore and banged up." Vancouver will continue its road trip Monday in New Jersey -- Hoglander will likely be a game-time decision for that matchup. If he's unavailable, Jake DeBrusk could slot back onto the top line.

Thatcher Demko - No timetable to return
Demko (lower body) practiced Sunday but doesn't yet have a timetable to return to game action, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
Impact
Demko has been sidelined since early February, and while he was initially expected to serve as the backup netminder Thursday against the Blues, he ultimately remained on injured reserve. However, he's reportedly been feeling better recently, so he appears to be trending in the right direction.

Elias Pettersson - Considered day-to-day
Head coach Rick Tocchet said Sunday that Pettersson (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day, Ben Kuzma of Postmedia reports.
Impact
Pettersson sustained an undisclosed injury during Saturday's loss to the Rangers, and he was unable to participate in Sunday's practice session. Tocchet said that Pettersson was still sore Sunday, so the 26-year-old forward's status certainly appears to be up in the air ahead of Monday's game against the Devils. Nils Hoglander (undisclosed) is also banged up, and Aatu Raty and Linus Karlsson are candidates to enter the lineup if either Pettersson or Hoglander are sidelined.
