Elias Pettersson - Out for remainder of trip Pettersson (undisclosed) returned to Vancouver and will miss the remainder of the team's road trip this week, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports Monday.
Impact That timeline rules out Pettersson for the next four games, starting with Monday's matchup versus New Jersey. He had three goals and six assists during a six-game point streak before getting hurt in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers. With Pettersson and Nils Hoglander (undisclosed) unavailable, Pius Suter will center the top line, while Aatu Raty and Linus Karlsson will occupy bottom-six roles against the Devils.

Nils Hoglander - Won't return during road trip Hoglander (undisclosed) recently returned to Vancouver and won't rejoin the Canucks for the remainder of their road trip, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports Monday.
Impact Hoglander exited Saturday's game against the Rangers due to an injury and didn't participate in Sunday's practice session. It's not yet clear what injury he's dealing with, but the ailment will apparently keep him out for at least four matchup. Jake DeBrusk will likely remain on the top line Monday against New Jersey, while Hoglander's next chance to return will be April 2 against Seattle.

Thatcher Demko - Starting against New Jersey Demko will be between the road pipes against the Devils on Monday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.
Impact Demko was activated off injured reserve earlier Monday after missing 15 games due to a lower-body injury. The 29-year-old has been inconsistent since the start of the calendar year, going 4-5-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .900 save percentage over 11 appearances. The Devils are averaging 2.96 goals per game this season, which ranks 17th in the NHL.
