Blue Jackets vs. Canadiens Prediction, Odds, Picks - Nov. 17
Joshua Roy - Brought up from minors Roy was summoned from AHL Laval on Sunday.
Impact Roy will probably be in the lineup against Columbus on Monday due to injuries to Patrik Laine (abdomen), Alex Newhook (ankle) and Kirby Dach (foot). The 22-year-old Roy has four goals and seven points in 10 AHL outings this season.

Kirby Dach - Will be out for awhile Dach (fractured foot) will miss the next 4-6 weeks, the team announced Sunday.
Impact Dach was in the midst of a four-goal month of November so far, but this news will put the Canadiens center's season on hold for a bit. The 24-year-old has five goals and two assists in 15 games this season with a minus-2 rating. It's a big opportunity for Joshua Roy, called up Sunday, to gain some traction with the team and play meaningful minutes in the NHL.

Sam Montembeault - Comes up short against Bruins Montembeault turned aside 20 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Boston.
Impact The 29-year-old netminder did shut the door in the third period to give the Habs a chance at tying the score, but his offense couldn't find an equalizer against Jeremy Swayman. Montembeault is 2-4-1 over his last eight outings with a shaky 3.80 GAA and .853 save percentage, but so far coach Martin St. Louis has stuck with him as Montreal's No. 1 in net rather than giving youngster Jakub Dobes a larger workload.

Bryce Pickford - Massive in Tigers' overtime loss Pickford scored twice on 11 shots and added an assist in WHL Medicine Hat's 6-5 overtime loss to Brandon on Saturday.
Impact Pickford has racked up seven points over his last four contests. The defenseman is up to 11 goals and 10 assists through 19 contests for the Tigers this season. The Canadiens prospect finished with 47 points in 48 regular-season outings in 2024-25, but it looks like he's found another level to his game in what's likely to be his last year in the WHL.
