Beaten three times Saturday Allen stopped 17 of 20 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Impact Allen has dropped three of his last four starts, although the only win in that span was a stellar 42-save shutout against the Sabres on Nov. 28. In the other three outings, however, Allen recorded a save percentage of .850 or lower. On the season, Allen has an 8-6-0 record with a 2.52 GAA and a .908 save percentage, but that's merit of an excellent start to the season rather than being a consistent performer between the pipes.

Impact Allen is coming off a 42-save shutout win over the Sabres on Friday, his eighth victory of the year. While the 35-year-old backstop remains the No. 2 option behind Jacob Markstrom, he should still see around 25-30 games this year and should be capable of putting up around 15 wins. Look for Allen to be in the crease against during an upcoming back-to-back versus the Golden Knights and Bruins on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

With the win, the 35-year-old netminder is up to an 8-4-0 record with a 2.27 GAA and a .919 save percentage through 13 appearances this season. Among goaltenders with 10 appearances or more this season, he ranks third in GAA across the league. Even while operating in a tandem with Jacob Markstrom, Allen has proven to be a strong goaltending asset in nearly all two-goalie formats in fantasy. With the Flyers slated for the second game of a back-to-back Saturday, look for Allen to have a chance at starting Monday against the Blue Jackets.
