Impact Marchand is being denied the opportunity to face his former team by an injury that is keeping him on the shelf for a third consecutive game. He has 25 goals and 50 points in 45 outings this campaign. Marchand's final chance to get into a game before the Olympic break will come Thursday in Tampa Bay.

Impact Bennett exited Monday's game against the Sabres due to an upper-body injury, but he's been cleared to suit up for the Panthers' penultimate game before the Olympic break. Over 16 appearances since the start of the calendar year, Bennett has recorded six goals, seven assists, 22 PIM, 20 hits and six blocked shots while averaging 19:28 of ice time.

Impact McAllister has never appeared in an NHL game. The 24-year-old center posted two goals, seven points, eight PIM and a minus-5 rating over 15 outings with AHL Charlotte before landing on waivers.

Niko Mikkola - Nabs assist in loss Mikkola notched an assist and three blocked shots in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Sabres.
Impact Mikkola snapped a seven-game point drought with the helper. He has three assists, 15 shots on net, 33 hits and 18 blocked shots over 16 outings since the start of January. The 29-year-old defenseman continues to see steady top-four minutes in a shutdown role for the Panthers. For the season, he's up to nine points, 53 shots, 95 hits, 61 blocks and 41 PIM over 55 outings.

Sergei Bobrovsky - Eighth loss in last 11 starts Bobrovsky made 15 saves in a 5-3 loss to Buffalo on Monday.
Impact Florida is in trouble right now -- it's 10 points behind Buffalo for the first wildd card spot, and nine points behind Boston for the second one. Bobrovsky has lost three straight, five of his last six, and eight of his last 11 start (3-8-0). He can use some rest and fast -- the Olympic break will hopefully give him the R&R he needs.

Impact It was his first goal in 11 games. Rodrigues is completely overmatched as Florida's top pivot -- Sam Bennett left Monday's game with an upper-body injury, and the kitties are already missing Anton Lundell, Aleksander Barkov and Tomas Nosek down the middle, and Brad Marchand on the right centre. Rodrigues has a point (one goal, one assist) in each of his last two games, but just three assists in the 10 games before Monday.

Impact Balinskis scored just 37 seconds when a lucky bounce rebound arrived on his stick in the left circle, and he buried a snap shot over Alex Lyon's glove while on a power play. Balinskis played a team-high 24:57 and fired three shots. He has four goals, eight shots and 48 shots this season.

Impact Reinhart is all but dragging the Panthers this season, and now he's the last man standing with Sam Bennett leaving with an upper-body injury Monday. The kitties are already without Aleksander Barkov, Brad Marchand and Anton Lundell. Reinhart has still managed 54 points (27 each) and 144 shots in 55 games this season. There's no rest for the weary, either, as Reinhart heads to Milano Cortina last this week to play for Canada.
