Frederik Andersen - First goalie off Andersen was the first goalie to leave the ice ahead of Monday's road clash with Seattle, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports, indicating he'll be in goal.

Impact Andersen is coming off a 27-save win over the Red Wings on Saturday, his first victory since Jan. 17 versus the Devils. In his limited action this year (23 games), the veteran netminder is sporting an 8-10-5 record, 3.21 GAA and .874 save percentage. Given his underwhelming numbers, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see Andersen filling a No. 2 role behind Brandon Bussi.

Impact Artamonov wasn't getting sufficient time or success in Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod's system this season, so he was loaned to Neftekhimik. Overall, the 20-year-old forward has six points over 46 KHL games as well as four points in eight contests for Torpedo's VHL affiliate. Despite the lack of offense this year, Artamonov was a star with 22 goals and 39 points in 63 appearances in 2024-25. He's out of contract at the end of this season, so he may sign his entry-level deal with the Hurricanes and make the jump to North America.
