Jordan Martinook - Out Saturday Martinook (lower body) wil miss Saturday's game in Tampa Bay, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

Impact Martinook was also absent for Carolina's 4-3 shootout loss to Florida because of the injury. He has four goals and 11 points in 33 appearances in 2025-26. Bradly Nadeau, who was summoned from AHL Chicago, is set to draw into the lineup.

Pyotr Kochetkov - In goal versus Lightning Kochetkov will protect the road goal versus the Lightning on Saturday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Impact Kochetkov will get the second half of a back-to-back after Brandon Bussi took a 4-3 shootout loss to the Panthers on Friday. The 26-year-old Kochetkov has won his last two outings, allowing four goals on 44 shots. The Lightning have 13 goals scored over their last four games, but they scored eight of them in one contest, so they have struggled with consistency.

Seth Jarvis - Lands on IR Jarvis (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.

Impact In a corresponding move, Carolina brought up Bradly Nadeau from AHL Chicago. Jarvis suffered the injury in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to Florida, and he will miss at least the next two games after moving to the IR list. However, it seems as though he could be out for longer than that. Jarvis has generated 19 goals, 29 points, 110 shots on net and 43 hits through 34 appearances this season.

Impact Svechnikov set up both of Sebastian Aho's goals in the contest. This was Svechnikov's second two-assist game in a row, and he has eight helpers over his last seven outings. For the season, the power winger is up to 22 points (eight on the power play) with 94 shots on net, 55 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 34 appearances.

Impact Staal continues to put together a strong December with three goals and three assists over nine outings this month. The 37-year-old center opened the scoring at 11:53 of the first period. He's up to 10 goals, 14 points, 44 shots on net, 51 hits, 23 PIM, 17 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 31 appearances.
