Craig Anderson - Guarding cage Monday Anderson will get the starting nod at home against the Oilers on Monday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.

Impact In his last appearance, Anderson coughed up four goals on 35 shots during a loss to Columbus. The veteran netminder is 9-8-2 with a 2.77 GAA and a .918 save percentage through 21 outings. He's 3-5-1 at home this season and hasn't earned a home victory since posting a 40-save shutout against the Kings on Dec. 13.

Tyson Jost - Dealing with lingering injury Jost will not be in action versus the Oilers on Monday due to a lingering undisclosed injury, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.

Impact Jost hasn't been ruled out for Tuesday's clash with the Islanders, so it sounds like his undisclosed injury isn't expected to be anything serious, With Jost coming out of the lineup, new addition Jordan Greenway will make his Buffalo debut. If Jost does return to action versus New York, he figures to step into a bottom-six role and could bump Kyle Okposo or Zemgus Girgensons from the lineup.

Impact Greenway looks poised to make his Sabres debut versus the Oilers after having been acquired by the club ahead of Friday's trade deadline. The winger is stuck in a 25-game goal drought during which he's recorded just two assists. Perhaps the change in scenery will help Greenway break out of his drought against Edmonton.

Buffalo's defense corps will also be missing Mattias Samuelsson (upper body), so Jacob Bryson and Kale Clague will both draw into the lineup.
